The Good, The Bad & The Queen

Damon Albarn has spun off a new band from the ashes of others, which has quite the good buzz. The Good, The Bad & The Queen is the latest project from the frontman of Blur and Gorillaz. ¬†Joining Albarn on this adventure will be The Clash’s bassist Paul Simonon, The Verve guitarist Simon Tong, and drummer Tony Allen. The band will be releasing it’s first album in early 2007 entitled The Good, The Bad & The Queen. Sitting in the producer’s chair is Danger Mouse, who is one half of the band Gnarls Barkley. Danger Mouse also produced the 2005 masterpiece, Demon Days, by Albarn’s other side project – Gorillaz. Sound confusing? It may; however, look for the new single, Kingdom of Doom, coming out on January 15th.
