Weather Underground by Massive Attack

It has been 4 years since Massive Attack released their last original album, 100th Window. However, the band has been back in the studio with enough material that should grant us Weather Underground, the latest work in progress, and possibly one other album within 12 months. Massive has been rumored to have contributions from the likes of David Bowie, Mike Patton (Faith No More), Damon Albarn, Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins), Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), and TV on the Radio. Grant “Daddy G” Marshall has been heavily involved in this album, which did not occur so much on 100th Window. Hopefully, this involvement will lead to a Massive Attack style that was heard on Mezzanine and Protection. Either way, as long as frontman Robert Del Naja is still involved, it will be something to look forward to in the upcoming months.
