I had a blast in Tulsa last weekend for the D-Fest Music Festival, starring Oklahoma faves The Flaming Lips.
The set was about a half hour longer than their ACL stand last Summer, but the same cornerstones: started with “Race For The Prize,” ended with “Jelly” and “Do You Realize.” “Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” and “The W.A.N.D.” were the only Mystic songs.
Of course the major difference was the spaceship that descended from the rafters at the start of the set. It was pretty badass.
