After 10 years of waiting, Portishead finally completed a new full length album of original material. There is no set date; however, Island Records have confirmed that it will be out in April of 2008. We must all be patient.

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007Please Clap Your Hands is the name of the new 5 track disc from the bird and the bee, which came out in late fall. Inara George and Greg Kurstin (former member of Geggy Tah) have included on the EP a nice little cover that has really given life to an old classic. “How Deep is Your Love” was originally done by the legendary Bee Gees for the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and happens today’s “Catch”. If you listen hard enough you can hear longtime friend of the band Sia (Zero 7) on the background vocals. Enjoy!
