You have probably heard of Andrew Bird, whether from his ACL performance a few years ago or his wonderful Take Away Show on the streets of Paris, and if you haven’t you are in for a treat. His soft vocals, piercing and pitch-perfect whistling, and plaintive violin-work combine for a live show that is engaging, interesting, and musically stunning.
And he’s coming back to town! Tickets go on sale this Saturday for a February 12th performance at the Paramount Theater, which has recently hosted stellar musicians from Pink Martini to Ray Lamontaine. Buy ‘em when you can, because they will sell out.
